Introduction to Universal Mail
Universal Mail was developed to integrate with MS Mail, CC:Mail, Lotus Notes, and MS Exchange to provide extra functionality to forward, reply and delete new mail messages whilst you are out of the office. The product allows you to define individual rules (up to 20 rules allowed) by which Universal Mail will process your new incoming messages.
The software consists of two parts: Client & Server: The client software is where you define the rules to which new mail messages will be actioned during your absence. The Server Software carries out the tasks of checking for your new mail by signing into Mail as yourself. New messages are checked against the rules you have defined using the client software and will action them exactly as you have specified.
Migration Tool
Subsequent versions of UMR will allow a similar migration use from and to any mail program compatible with Universal Mail.
Current Platforms
Universal Mail will work on any MS Windows, Win '95, or Windows NT compatible system. Any networking system which you can map a drive to your postoffice and Universal Mail will work with it.

Universal Mail Migrator has been designed to aid in the migration process from MS Mail to Exchange Mail, to provide a clear path for your migration. It is a tool to insure that any E-mail directed to the old MS Mail Postoffices will be redirected to the new Exchange Postoffices and will stop NDRs (Non delivery reports) from being generated for users migrated from an MS Mail Postoffice to Exchange.
